How to watch Manchester United vs Chelsea: TV channel, livestream, kick-off time, latest team news
Manchester United return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon against Chelsea at Old Trafford with interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy to take charge.
Ruud van Nistelrooy has taken the reigns at Manchester United on a temporary basis following the sacking of Erik ten Hag earlier this week.
He led the team during their 5-2 win against Leicester City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday but the weekend clash against Chelsea is a more challenging prospect.
Enzo Maresca’s side have looked impressive so far this term despite their cup exit against Newcastle mid-week. They currently sit fifth in the Premier League table.
Meanwhile, United are 14th in the league standings and will need to start winning games on a consistent basis soon if they still want Champions League qualification for next season.
Ruben Amorim will be the man tasked with that challenge once he joins the club before the November international break. Until then, United’s legendary striker will attempt to get some points on the board.
Ahead of that clash against Chelsea, UtdDistrict provides all of the important details you need to know about watching this Premier League affair.
Kick-off time & venue
Manchester United’s clash against Chelsea will kick off at 16:30 GMT on Sunday, 3 November.
The game will take place at Old Trafford and will be Van Nistelrooy’s second of four games in charge at the Theatre of Dreams.
He may only be in the hot-seat for a handful of fixtures, but the United legend will feel fortunate to be in front of the home crowd in all of those games.
TV channels & livestreams
In the United Kingdom, the game will be available to watch live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, while international coverage and livestreams can be found here.
The UtdDistrict X account will also cover the fixture, providing quotes from Ten Hag and the players before and after the match.
Latest team news
The Reds are currently without Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Toby Collyer and Antony.
Before his dismissal, Ten Hag had confirmed that Shaw faced a setback in his recovery from injury, while the other injured players are all unlikely to return for this game.
