Manchester United return to Premier League action this weekend as they host Brentford at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Erik ten Hag has had a challenging start to the season, with Manchester United winning only three of their first 10 games across all competitions.

Consecutive 3-0 home defeats to Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League have intensified the pressure on the manager.

Following a meeting after the most recent draw with Aston Villa, INEOS executives have opted to retain the Dutchman for the time being.

However, results and performances will need to improve quickly. Brentford will not provide an easy opponent this weekend, with Thomas Frank’s side having had a solid start to the new campaign.

The full details ahead of that clash can be read below.

Kick-off times & venue

It will be United’s first time playing in the Saturday 3pm (UK time) kick-off slot this season.

Ten Hag’s side will be at Old Trafford for the sixth time so far this term, with just two wins at their home ground currently.

TV Channels & livestreams

In the United Kingdom, the game will not be available to watch live due to the 3pm blackout ruling, although international coverage and livestreams can be found here.

The UtdDistrict X account will also cover the fixture, providing quotes from Ten Hag and the players before and after the match.

Latest team news

Noussair Mazraoui, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo all pulled out of their country’s fixtures last week but were spotted in United training this week.

Rasmus Højlund and Manuel Ugarte suffered issues with their nations in recent days but are both available for selection.

Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo are not be available after suffering injuries against Aston Villa, while Tyrell Malacia and Leny Yoro are still recovering from longer-term issues.

Luke Shaw and Mason Mount will not be involved either, as the game comes too soon for the English pair.
