Manchester United will be facing Arsenal on Sunday in the opening pre-season fixture of their United States tour this summer.

Erik ten Hag’s side have played two friendly games against Rosenborg and Rangers in Norway and Scotland, respectively, as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Now, United are set to continue that in America for the second year in a row. Their schedule isn’t as jam-packed as it was in 2023, however, with only three games in the States.

This Arsenal clash will be followed by games against La Liga side Real Betis and rivals Liverpool, who are now managed by Arne Slot after Jurgen Klopp’s departure.

The full details of how to watch the upcoming clash can be read below.

Kick-off time and venue

The first clash of the pre-season tour kicks off in the early hours of Sunday morning at 01:00 BST. United and Arsenal will be playing in Los Angeles at the 70,000-seater SoFi Stadium.

Latest squad news

Erik ten Hag confirmed his 29-man squad for the tour on Wednesday and there are several exciting youngsters travelling with the team.

Harry Amass and Toby Collyer are among those to have impressed so far and are expected to get opportunities in the coming weeks as well.

Meanwhile, several first-team players have returned to team training this week and could be involved against the Premier League opposition.

Marcus Rashford, Antony and Victor Lindelof missed the last game against Rangers with small injuries but could all be involved.

Harry Maguire could also return to action after rejoining team training following a lengthy injury spell that ruled him out of England’s Euro 2024 squad.

Tom Heaton, Scott McTominay, Rasmus Højlund and Christian Eriksen all returned to the club following their participation at Euro 2024 and could all get some minutes on Sunday.

Højlund will be sporting his new no.9 after swapping out the no.11 he was given for his debut campaign at Old Trafford.
