How to watch Leeds United vs Manchester United: TV channel, live stream, kick-off time
Manchester United travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United this weekend in the second of back-to-back Premier League clashes between the two teams, following a frustrating 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture midweek.
United had a tough game midweek, conceding in the opening minute and being dominated for the first 10 minutes of the game. However, they came back shortly after this, claiming the majority of the possession but failing to create enough clear chances in the first half.
The second half started off almost identically with Leeds scoring early, again spurring United into action, but unlike in the first half this time they were able to produce chance after chance (perhaps due to the re-introduction of Jadon Sancho to the team).
Eventually, United managed to get 2 goals back to finish the game 2-2 however, they could easily have managed 3 or 4 goals in the final 20 minutes as they peppered the Leeds defence hoping for a late winner. It was a great game and I expect just as much drama and chaos this weekend!
However, a match at Elland Road is a completely different beast to a home game at Old Trafford and United should expect a very hostile reception from Leeds fans from the minute they walk on the pitch, to the minute they leave on the team bus. Add to this the fact that the Leeds players may feel that they were robbed of a victory midweek having gone 0-2 up early in the second half, it will be far from an easy game for Ten Hag’s men.
