Manchester United dealt injury blow as Harry Maguire sent home from England camp
Manchester United have been dealt an injury blow as Harry Maguire has been sent home from England’s training camp following a defeat against Brazil.
Harry Maguire played 67 minutes during England‘s 1-0 defeat against Brazil at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening, but a potential injury has now ended his minutes for England this international break.
According to information from MailOnline, Manchester United‘s Maguire has been sent home after he had a scan on Sunday after the Brazil game.

He has been ruled out of Tuesday’s friendly against Belgium, with the game against Brazil representing his first start for club or country since 24 February following injury.
This will certainly leave Erik ten Hag feeling anxious, with United set to face Brentford next Saturday in a crucial Premier League tie.
Fabrizio Romano has explained that Maguire is not expected to be out for a long time with injury as it has been initially described as “not serious”, but further scans will clarify more.
Although Lisanadro Martínez is thought to be fit enough to play some minutes, it is unlikely that the centre-half will be able to start for United, leaving their options increasingly limited.
Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia also remain sidelined and face uphill battles to be fit for the end of the campaign and EURO 2024.
After Brentford, United have two huge league clashes against Chelsea (A) and Liverpool (H) with the squad chasing down the Champions League spots in the coming weeks.
In more positive news, Kobbie Mainoo made his debut for England against Brazil, playing the final 20 minutes of the tie after a brilliant debut season at Old Trafford.
