Harry Maguire has been advised to join Aston Villa as the Manchester United captain loses his place at Manchester United under Erik ten Hag.
Harry Maguire‘s stint as Manchester United captain has seemingly come to an end as he has lost his place under Erik ten Hag.
Maguire is currently earning £200k a week at the club and may be hard to move on due to his high wage, however, ex-United striker Dwight Yorke believes Maguire should leave the club and join Premier League‘s Aston Villa.

“Harry Maguire has been at Man United for four years now, he’s clearly talented and is still one of England’s number one defenders,” Yorke told BoyleSports. “If he doesn’t match the philosophy of Erik ten Hag, then there’s nothing he can do but leave the club.
“Aston Villa would be a great destination for Maguire, they’re ambitious and want to break into the top six. Unai Emery has done a fantastic job, they have a great stadium and an amazing fanbase.
“Villa are looking to bring in established players to break into the European spots consistently and Maguire is one of those established players.
“It’s a fresh start for Maguire, he can get out of the limelight and blossom again, there are not many better destinations for him to return to his best than Aston Villa.”
United are reportedly demanding £50 million for Maguire as they look to recoup some of the £80m transfer fee that they paid Leicester in 2019.
