Europa League quarter-final draw: When is it? how to watch, who can Man United play?
Manchester United are awaiting their Europa League quarter-finals opposition, with the draw coming at the end of the week.
Erik ten Hag’s men were comfortable victors across two legs in the round of 16 against Real Betis, winning 5-1 on aggregate.
They now look ahead to finding out their upcoming opponent in the competition. Arsenal could be among those to play The Reds.
When is the Europa League draw?
The Europa League draw for the last eight will take place on Friday 17th March 2023.
It will get underway at 12:00pm GMT and usually takes place at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
How to watch the Europa League draw
The draw will be shown live on BT Sport and the BT Sport app. It will also be available to stream on UEFA’s website.
Who can Man United play against?
Moving into the quarter-finals, the rulebook states that teams in the same country can now face off against each other – however, Arsenal were knocked out against Sporting on Thursday evening.
Juventus look like one of the toughest potential opponents for United, whilst a clash against Roma would see a Jose Mourinho reunion at Old Trafford.
