Erik ten Hag has been advised to change his policy on Jadon Sancho after positive pre-season performances.

Jadon Sancho has been operating in a central role so far for Erik ten Hag this season, with the Dutchman said to be keen to see if he can play there more often for Manchester United next season.

Sancho has been subject to much transfer speculation this summer, with Borussia Dortmund said to be interested in a loan move.

Ten Hag is also said to be happy to sell Jadon Sancho, as long as it is for the right price – with a £45 million price tag reportedly set for him.

Mikaël Silvestre, however, feels that he does not believe the rumour, and that Ten Hag should change his stance and continue with the Englishman in the squad next season.

“Jadon came back into the frame after a period out last season and he was performing well, so I don’t believe there’s any truth to these rumours,” Silvestre told GGrecon.

“He will be an asset for Manchester United this season, he just needs greater consistency. That’s all he has to do.”

Jadon Sancho will look to continue his good form in pre-season against his former club Dortmund, after scoring against Arsenal and impressing Ten Hag.
