Manchester United predicted XI vs Nottingham Forest with two Erik ten Hag changes expected
Erik ten Hag is expected to make two changes to his Manchester United XI as they take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in the Premier League.
Manchester United‘s last Premier League game resulted in a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening.
Thanks to goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Højlund, who are both expected to keep their places, Erik ten Hag‘s men will be looking to build on their result with a tie away from home against Nottingham Forest.

André Onana is certain to keep his place in the penultimate fixture before he leaves to compete in AFCON with Cameroon, despite being criticised for Villa’s opening goal on Boxing Day.
In front of him, Diogo Dalot is expected to move back into his natural right-back position to make way for Sergio Reguilón, with Luke Shaw absent against Aston Villa due to a minor knock and no news on his fitness since. Beyond this, Jonny Evans and Raphaël Varane are likely to keep their places in central defence.
Kobbie Mainoo was once again praised for his great performance against Unai Emery’s team and should start in midfield alongside Bruno Fernandes, but Christian Eriksen, who played 94 minutes on Tuesday after returning from injury last week, maybe rested in favour of Sofyan Amrabat, who is also expected to return to the squad and XI on Saturday.
Up front, goalscorers and Old Trafford heroes Garnacho and Højlund will keep their places, with Garnacho placed back on the left wing despite his spectacular second-half performance against Villa from the right-hand side.
This is to make way for Antony on the right-hand side, with Ten Hag likely expecting to have more of the ball higher up on the field against Forest than against Villa, which will likely benefit Antony more than Marcus Rashford.
Predicted Manchester United XI
Onana, Dalot, Evans, Varane, Reguilón, Mainoo, Eriksen, Fernandes, Antony, Højlund, Garnacho.
