Erik ten Hag makes one tactical change in Man Utd predicted XI vs Brentford (Premier League)
Erik ten Hag is predicted to make one key change as Manchester United play host to Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester United‘s 2023/24 Premier League campaign so far has been nothing short of a complete disaster.
They have lost four of their opening seven fixtures in the competition and currently sit 10th in the table, seven points off Liverpool in fourth place.

Despite the poor start, Erik ten Hag often likes to stick with not too much rotation, and despite his poor performances of late, Andrè Onana will almost certainly stay in goal.
In front of him, partly due to a lack of numbers, will continue to be Diogo Dalot, Raphaël Varane, and Victor Lindelöf; but due to Casemiro’s poor display against Galasasaray, Harry Maguire could move into centre-back and Lindelöf to the left full-back position.
This would then leave Sofyan Amrabat free to move into his natural midfield area.
Now, this is where the interesting part lies. Casemiro’s performances have not been up to scratch this season – he has been outshone by youngster Hannibal Mejbri, and with Amrabat moving into the middle of the park, Casemiro could be dropped in favour of Hannibal for tactical reasons – Hannibal provides more energy than Casemiro as a No. 8 and this could combine well with Amarbat at Old Trafford.
Mason Mount, who performed very well in midweek against Galatasaray despite the loss, could then take up the attacking midfield role.
Although there is an argument that Antony could be handed his first start back on his return to the side, Bruno Fernandes may continue his place on the right wing for continuity purposes, with new fan-favourite Rasmus Højlund at striker and Marcus Rashford on the right-hand side.
Although much has been made of Rashford’s poor form this season, history suggests that Ten Hag is unlikely to drop the England international.
