Erik ten Hag explains Hannibal Mejbri tactical decision vs Galatasaray (Champions League)

Erik ten Hag has explained his line-up selection as Manchester United host Galatasaray in the Champions League at Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag has explained that he has introduced Hannibal Mejbri back into the XI in order to bring energy.
Hannibal was dropped from the Manchester United squad as they lost 1-0 against Crystal Palace in the Premier League last weekend, with Ten Hag explaining that he took this decision as the youngster cannot play every game – something he has reiterated ahead of their Champions League clash.

“It’s to bring energy. Hannibal is a young player, he can’t play three times in a week,” Ten Hag told TNT Sports ahead of the tie.
“From a tactical point of view, I think it’s also the good approach today.”
“On Saturday, we played very well, but we were really bad in the box, whether it was in terms of movement or decision-making,” he continued. “We have to do better.”
United need to make sure they secure all three points against Galatasaray, as they currently sit with zero points at the bottom of Group A in the competition.
