Enzo Fernandez breaks silence on his future amongst Manchester United January links

Enzo Fernandez has taken the world stage by storm in recent months as he collected the Young Player of the Tournament award during the 2022 World Cup.
Being an integral part of the Argentina side that ultimately became victorious at the World Cup, Fernandez has launched his name into the headlines, as well as the scouting systems of pretty much every big club in Europe.
Manchester United have been heavily linked to the midfielder for some time, with links emerging as early as April this year, before the player had even moved to Benfica.
Further to this, it has been claimed that Manchester United are willing to pay the midfielder’s whopping €120 million release clause.

With his future a big talking point, he was questioned about his future on Monday.
“I don’t know anything, that’s what my representative is taking care of,” Fernandez said. “I don’t want to get into the subject. I am focused on Benfica, we have a game on Friday.”
With the January transfer window looming, a number of players have been heavily linked to Erik ten Hag’s squad, including the likes of Joao Felix, Cody Gakpo, and Frenkie de Jong.
With Cristiano Ronaldo having left the club in December, Ten Hag will no doubt be looking to bolster his fire power in the coming weeks as he aims to get Manchester United back in the Champions League.
