Bryan Mbeumo and Amad have spoken optimistically about Manchester United’s Premier League title prospects, even stating that ‘dreaming is possible’.
Manchester United are set for one of their final away matches of 2025 as Rúben Amorim leads his squad into a Monday night trip to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Rob Edwards’ side have endured a torrid Premier League campaign and currently sit bottom of the table, having collected just two points from 14 games while losing ten times.
Even so, confidence around Old Trafford is limited following another flat performance on Thursday, when United were held to a 1–1 draw by 18th-placed West Ham.
With Amorim under pressure to push his side into the Champions League places and secure his future, the visit to Molineux has become a must-win encounter, one that some believe could define the remainder of the season.
The Theatre of Dreaming?
Bryan Mbeumo and Amad sat down with Sky Sports ahead of their clash with the Hammers and spoke about the level at which United can compete in two years.
Amad said, “Honestly, why not winning the league? Dreaming is possible, no?”
Before Mbeumo added, “If you come to Manchester United, you want to win titles, and the Premier League is one of them, so why not?”
The pair, who are both heading to the Africa Cup of Nations in the coming weeks, are clearly optimistic about the United project that they are a part of, and see it having a bright future.
Amad backs Amorim
The Ivorian international then spoke about the direction that his side is heading towards under Amorim’s management, and highlighted the change in mindset since their record-low league finish of 15th last season.
He said: “From my personal side, I think we are improving a lot, especially as a team, because I can remember last season some of the games weren’t easy for us.
“We were going into games already thinking we lost the game, but this season is different. Different mindset, different energy.
“We go to the game, and we feel we can win this game, so I think we are improving, and the staff also are helping us to make that step.
“The mindset is positive in the dressing room. We are a different team. Bruno [Fernandes] is a leader, [Harry] Maguire, everyone, even Bryan.”
