Ayden Heaven has impressed a lot since arriving at Manchester United in the January transfer window.
Manchester United signed Ayden Heaven from Arsenal in the mid-season transfer window for a reported £1.5 million fee.
The teenage defender was immediately placed in Ruben Amorim’s first-team and earned his debut against Fulham in the FA Cup.
His next two appearances came against Arsenal, his former club, and Real Sociedad. He was one of United’s best players in both of those games.
Heaven also looked extremely impressive last weekend against Leicester City but was forced off with an injury early in the second half.
Fortunately for United, it has been reported that Heaven could be back in training when the international break is over. That is great news for United after it looked like the defender could be out of action for a significant period.
Scout explains Heaven’s best attribute
One of the main attributes that fans have already noticed about Heaven is his confidence on the pitch. The 18-year-old has already played in some big games and didn’t look phased.
Terry Bobie-Agyekum is a Chelsea scout but also is the owner and founder of junior club Levels FC, who Heaven joined as a 12-year-old.
Bobie-Agyekum believes that Heaven’s mindset on the pitch is one of the things that differentiates him to a lot of other young talent.
“I think his ability to bounce back has helped him become even stronger,” Bobie-Agyekum, told the Manchester Evening News.
“He had a mindset that is different to everyone else. He had a lion mentality, he was arrogant on the pitch – nice boy off the pitch, but arrogant on it.
“That was highlighted with the way he took touches, the way he would drive through teams, the way he could break lines with passes and how he would talk to his team-mates to gee them up.
“His character off the pitch, he is probably one of the nicest guys you will meet, he is quite quiet but a good kid to be around. He’s cheeky sometimes.
“You hear the term ‘live and breathe football’ but he epitomises that. And when he is on the pitch he means business, he is not your friend! He wants to win, unless he’s winning he is not smiling!”
Amorim will need injured United players back
Amorim will be extremely pleased that Heaven will be back in action soon and there are other players closing in on a return to the pitch as well.
Harry Maguire opted against joining the England squad so that he could be fully fit and fresh for United when club football returns.
Meanwhile, Mason Mount is back in contention to play. Kobbie Mainoo and Leny Yoro should be back in action soon after the Reds return too.

With an important end to the season coming up, Amorim will need his entire squad to try and make it a positive conclusion to a difficult campaign for United.
