David de Gea brutally trolls Man City with five-word reaction to Manchester United win
Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea brutally trolls Man City after Rúben Amorim’s fantastic Premier League victory on Sunday afternoon.
Manchester United triumphed 2-1 over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, with Amad Diallo delivering two moments of magic late on to snatch all three points for Rúben Amorim’s side in an electrifying Premier League clash.
The game began with both sides battling for control, but United were dealt an early blow when Mason Mount was forced off injured after just 15 minutes.

City took full advantage, opening the scoring through Joško Gvardiol. The defender rose above United’s defence to head home Kevin de Bruyne’s deflected cross following a smartly worked short corner.
In the second half, United pushed forward with intent, dominating possession but struggling to find a breakthrough against City’s well-organised backline. Bruno Fernandes had a great chance with 10 minutes remaining, but his effort fell short.
Then came the turning point. Amad Diallo dazzled his way into the City box, earning a penalty that Fernandes converted with trademark composure to level the game with five minutes to go.
United weren’t finished yet. Lisandro Martínez delivered an extraordinary pass from deep, sending Amad through on goal. The young winger showed incredible poise to round Ederson and slot home the winner, sealing a dramatic comeback and a crucial win for United.
David de Gea’s brutal troll
David de Gea is well-versed in facing Man City, having played them 28 times across his career.
The Spanish goalkeeper was present for a fair share of the club’s wins at the Etihad, particularly when the side beat them three times in a row at that ground under Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
Reacting to the result, De Gea issued a brilliant five-word message, brutally trolling Man City just moments after the full-time whistle blew.
De Gea’s time at United ended on a rather sour note, with the side losing 2-1 against Pep Guardiola’s men during the 2023 FA Cup final, but it’s clear he’s still a Red at heart.
