Coventry City defender fires Man United a warning shot about Man City
Coventry City defender Milan van Ewijk believes that Manchester United can be beaten, with the two clubs set to face off in the FA Cup semi-final.
Manchester United defeated Liverpool in a thrilling 4-3 victory at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, with the home side scoring a last-minute winner to throw themselves into the hat for the FA Cup semi-final.
They were then drawn against Championship club Coventry City, who have had a wonderful run in the FA Cup.

In their quarter-final tie, they scored two goals in the 90+7 and 90+10 minutes to defeat Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers to book their place at Wembley.
Milan van Ewijk, Dutch and Coventry defender, explained that he is happy with the draw as they avoided Manchester City – but United, their Wembley opponents, are beatable.
The draw is alright,” van Ewijk explained via ZiggoSport. “Against Man City, you pretty much have no chance. With all due respect, Man United is a top club but they have games where it doesn’t go well.”
To a certain extent, the 23-year-old’s words ring true. United have shown this season that they can completely crumble against inferior opposition, with Old Trafford losses against Bournemouth and Fulham as clear examples.
However, once United face Coventry in late April, they are likely to have an almost full squad of players. Lisandro Martínez, Anthony Martial, Casemiro, and Mason Mount are all expected to be fit and ready to play, barring further injuries.
