Manchester United travel away to the Molineux in their next Premier League game as they face Wolves in their third game of the Julen Lopetegui reign.

Erik ten Hag’s men have won back-to-back matches since returning from the World Cup break. The 2-0 victory against Burnley in the Carabao Cup was followed by a 3-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest in the league.

After Tottenham Hotspur dropped two points against Brentford in their 2-2 draw, United climbed within a point of the top four with a game in hand on Antonio Conte’s side.

Confidence will be high amongst Ten Hag’s squad going into this fixture, especially considering that both Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane are both back at the club following the World Cup final.

The match officials have been confirmed for this fixture, they can be viewed below.

Match Referee

Robert Jones will be the man in charge on Saturday afternoon. It will only be his 33rd time leading a Premier League match and the first-ever with Manchester United involved.

United fans felt aggrieved that a penalty shout against Forest was waved off by Anthony Taylor and subsequently the VAR. They have been awarded just one spot-kick in the league so far this season.

They will be hoping that Jones will have a good performance in Wolverhampton, with the likelihood of a close match-up being high.

Assistant Referees

Lee Betts and Ian Hussin will be flanking Jones for this fixture. The pair have assisted over 400 top-flight fixtures in England between them.

Video Assistant Referees (VAR)

Darren England will be in charge at Stockley Park, with Harry Lennard assisting him on the monitors.

Fourth Official

Thomas Bramall will be the man between Ten Hag and Lopetegui on the touchline.
