Confirmed line-ups: Manchester United vs Real Betis (Europa League)
Manchester United return to Europa League action as they welcome Real Betis to Old Trafford in the round of 16.
Erik ten Hag has made no changes to the Manchester United side that lost 7-0 to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, with the manager expecting a reaction from his players.
Speaking ahead of the fixture, Ten Hag said: “We need a win, but we play a very good opponent. We have to be ready for that. We are aware that when we play our best we have a good chance to win.”
Marcus Rashford also commented ahead of the tie, saying: “It’s obviously going to be a massive challenge. We expect them like most Spanish teams to be comfortable on the ball, and comfortable in possession. They are going to bring the game to us and they have been in form at the moment in La Liga.
“It’s going to hopefully be an exciting game, but we need to do our best to put ourselves in a good position for the tie.”
