Alejandro Garnacho returns to the XI as Manchester United welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford in the Premier League.
Lisandro Martinez was suspended for Manchester United‘s last fixture due to yellow card accumulation, a 2-2 away draw against Barcelona in the Europa League. Marcel Sabitzer was also suspended for the tie.
However, both players now return to Erik ten Hag‘s starting XI as they welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford in the Premier League, with the club looking to secure back-to-back wins after defeating Leeds United at Elland Road last weekend.
“You don’t want to miss them in the squad, in Barcelona,” Ten Hag said on the pair ahead of the fixture.
“They are important players for our team. They are back in the squad, which is good. That will strengthen the squad, so we will have a good team on Sunday.”
Casemiro will serve the last of this three-match domestic ban for violent conduct against Crystal Palace, and will be available to feature in United’s next domestic fixture: the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United.
