Manchester United are entering their 2023 FA Cup campaign by hosting Everton at Old Trafford.
Having won their first game of the year with a 3-0 victory over struggling Bournemouth in the Premier League on Tuesday, Erik ten Hag and Manchester United will be looking to continue their good form in the last few weeks.
Everton have struggled in recent times and are winless in their last seven fixtures, with Frank Lampard’s job seemingly more and more on the line as days go by.

“For me, the cup is always special,” detailed Ten Hag in his pre-match press conference on Thursday. I know in England the FA Cup is even more [special]. Higher expectations, higher standards, as in the Netherlands.
“It’s a different cup and in not so many games, you can achieve a lot. Also, you have to come away a winner – this is possible when you draw and there is replay, but, after two, it’s a knockout, so I like that.”
