“They will win well” – Chris Sutton makes bold Manchester United vs Arsenal Premier League prediction
Former Premier League forward Chris Sutton has made a bold prediction as Manchester United prepare to face Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
Rúben Amorim’s Manchester United face a stern test against Arsenal, riding the momentum of a dominant 4-0 victory over Everton at the weekend.
Amorim has enjoyed a positive start to life at Old Trafford, delivering two wins and a draw in his first three matches. His arrival has breathed new life into the team after their woeful early-season struggles under Erik ten Hag.

Next up is a trip to the Emirates, where Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal await, fresh from their own statement win—a 5-2 triumph over West Ham.
United currently sit 9th in the Premier League but remain just four points shy of 4th-placed Brighton, keeping their Champions League hopes firmly alive.
Sutton’s prediction
While many would have predicted a thumping victory from Arsenal would Erik ten Hag have still been in charge of the club, Amorim’s arrival and positive form has given United new life.
However, former Chelsea striker and regular pundit Chris Sutton still feels that, despite the buzz around Amorim, he still feels that Arsenal’s sheer firepower will be too much for United to handle on Wednesday evening.
He told BBC Sport: “I can understand the excitement about Ruben Amorim from Manchester United fans because he is a hugely charismatic guy who comes across so well in interviews.
“I am pleased for him that he has got off to a decent start, because he is unbeaten after his first three games, but this is the real acid test that will demonstrate where United are at.
“We have seen some classic games between these teams down the years, but Arsenal are a long way ahead of United, especially now Odegaard is back – he has taken them to the levels we were expecting from them all season.
“It would be a real eye-opener if United go to Emirates Stadium and get something, but I can’t see it.
“Arsenal have scored a lot of goals in the past week and that should continue here. They will win, and win well.”
