Two Manchester United starlets are becoming impossible to ignore after scoring for their international sides this week in messages to Rúben Amorim.

Manchester United‘s Academy has been producing a series of fantastic talents across the last three seasons, with Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo both breaking through into the first-team under Erik ten Hag.

However, with Rúben Amorim now at the helm, many are looking back towards the side’s U21s and U18s as to who may be the next flock of talent to make their way into the first-team under the new head coach.

Amorim has never been afraid to use young stars, as evidenced by 17-year-old winger Geovany Quenda starting for his Sporting side as they defeated Manchester City 4-1 in the Champions League earlier this month.

Plenty of money and time has gone into investing in the sides this season, and United’s U18s have won all nine of their U18 Premier League games this season, scoring 43 goals and conceding just four.

Two stars amongst the goals

With men’s domestic and club football taking a break across the world due to the hosting of international fixtures, 13 first-team players have flown off to represent their countries, while a flock of Academy stars have done the same for the youth ranks.

Two in particular have shown this week, with both Chido Obi-Martin and Gabriele Biancheri making firm impressions with their respective youth national sides.

The former, Obi-Martin, is a new signing at the club and scored a hattrick on his first start for the U18s. He recently netted against Finland in a 2-1 loss for Denmark’s U18s, showing that, even though he is just 16, he may soon take the step into the U21s and first-team action.

The latter, Biancheri (above), signed from Cardiff in February 2023 and has been unstoppable this season. The young star has scored 17 goals across the club’s U18s and U21s sides in this campaign thus far and recently carried this form to the Wales U19s side.

Biancheri netted the only goal in a 1-0 win over Scotland earlier this week, following his scoring in back-to-back games against Italy last month.

In clear messages to Rúben Amorim, Obi-Martin and Biancheri are both becoming impossible to ignore.
