Carlos Baleba sends cryptic message as Fabrizio Romano reveals latest Man Utd transfer chances

Carlos Baleba has sent a cryptic message on his social media channels as his latest chances of a Manchester United move are revealed.

Manchester United brought in four senior players over the summer to strengthen Ruben Amorim’s squad.

Benjamin Šeško, Bryan Mbeumo, and Matheus Cunha were recruited to boost the attack, while Senne Lammens was signed to provide competition in goal and has already established himself as the new first-choice keeper.

However, even after spending more than £200 million, several key areas in the squad still need attention, and the club has already begun planning for next summer’s business.

United also explored a deal for Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba before the end of August, but after initial negotiations proved difficult, they decided to put the move on hold until 2026.

Baleba’s poor start to the new campaign at Brighton, along with the emergence of other potential targets, has placed some doubt about whether United will return for the Cameroonian.

Baleba sends cryptic message

United have recently been linked with moves for the likes of Elliot Anderson and Adam Wharton. Meanwhile, Baleba is still trying to get his season started.

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler admitted that the 21-year-old had been affected by the noise created when he was rumoured with a move to Old Trafford.

The young midfielder failed to impress when he faced United last month and has been substituted early in games several times so far this season.

Despite these troubles, Baleba is clearly still pushing to improve and recently took to Instagram to send a cryptic message to his followers.

On Saturday, the Brighton star reposted a quote onto his story which read, “Don’t try rush what God is taking time to prepare.”

Fabrizio Romano reveals Baleba’s United chances

Even though Baleba is currently struggling for form, it doesn’t seem like United are impacted by this and the Reds are still keen to sign him next year.

That is according to the latest information from Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Baleba remains a ‘priority’ target for United and Amorim.

“I keep telling you that Man Utd still want Carlos Baleba, and Baleba is still very keen on a move to United, even more now that they’re doing well in the league,” Romano explained in his latest YouTube video.

“Baleba’s name is very high on United’s shortlist for a new midfielder. It’s likely to be a difficult deal in January unless Brighton change their stance, but for the summer, Man Utd see Baleba as a priority target.”
