Bryan Mbeumo suggests Man Utd XI decision Ruben Amorim should make vs Sunderland, “we need to create…”

Bryan Mbeumo has been speaking about Manchester United’s start to the season and suggested that Ruben Amorim makes a specific decision with his team.

Manchester United have managed just two victories from their first seven games this season, against Chelsea and Burnley.

After last season’s disappointment, a strong start was crucial, but United have failed to deliver so far this term and the latest 3-1 defeat to Brentford has further piled pressure on Ruben Amorim.

The United boss needs to turn things around and the next game against Sunderland feels crucial ahead of the international break.

Amorim will be debating how to set up his team for that game, and Bryan Mbeumo seems to have a suggestion in mind for the frontline.

Mbeumo suggests Man Utd XI decision

Mbeumo has started well at United amid the chaos and the last game was the first time he lined up alongside Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Šeško.

Those three players are expected to help United turn their fortunes around but they are still learning how to play with each other.

Despite there being some suggestions to make room for Bruno Fernandes in that front three, Mbeumo has suggested that he needs to build a partnership with Cunha and Šeško, which is done on the training pitch and in games.

“I really enjoy playing with them two,” Mbeumo told club media. “We still need to create this partnership, the automatism. With the trainings and communication all together, I think we are going to improve that.”

With just one game together under their belts, it seems like Mbeumo wants to keep trying to build those relationships up front with Cunha and Šeško.

Sunderland clash will not be easy

The upcoming clash against Sunderland will not be easy for Amorim’s men, especially as the newly promoted side are full of confidence after their strong start to the season.

“It’s going to be a really tough match, they are doing really well,” Amorim said in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon.

“When you see their games, they draw with one less player in the final of the game. They draw a point and then win in the final play against Brentford.

“I think the details are changing a lot the table, so we need to pay attention to that. So it’s a team that plays really well, with a clear system, 4-3-3 with a lot of rotations on the side of the pitch.

“They will be confident and know we are under pressure. We need to be prepared for that. It will be a tough match.”
