Bryan Mbeumo sends Man Utd fans 7-word message after Nottingham Forest draw, Leny Yoro responds

Bryan Mbeumo has sent a message to Manchester United fans after the Reds drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester United were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground after Amad’s late goal salvaged a point.

United made a strong start and took the lead through Casemiro, though the corner that led to the goal appeared to be awarded in error. Amad and Benjamin Šeško both went close to adding a second before halftime, while Forest remained dangerous on the counterattack.

Ruben Amorim’s men were undone early in the second half as Forest scored twice in quick succession to overturn the deficit.

But Amad struck brilliantly near the end to restore parity and was denied a winner in the dying moments when another powerful effort was cleared off the line.

Mbeumo sends United fans 7-word message after Forest draw

After being nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month in October, Bryan Mbeumo was unable to replicate his form in front of goal at the City Ground.

The 26-year-old only had one shot in the game, and it was easily saved by Matz Sels, although Mbeumo did create some great chances for the likes of Šeško and Amad.

On his Instagram page after the game, Mbeumo wrote: “Still a point away! We keep fighting.” Several of his United teammates liked the post, including Leny Yoro, Amad and Joshua Zirkzee.

While it was obviously disappointing for the Reds to not win a fourth game in a row, Mbeumo and the squad are keen to focus on the positives.

United still on right path

Many are disappointed by the fact that United did not win at Forest but Amorim’s side are still going in the right direction.

That game was also Sean Dyche’s first for Forest at home in the Premier League and clashes against the experienced manager are always difficult.

The collapse at the beginning of the second half was concerning but United managed to compose themselves, score an equaliser and push for a winner in the final stages of the game.

It is not like there are no concerns at Old Trafford, and the Reds need to continue improving, but as the players’ reactions suggest, they are not panicking after the draw at Forest.
