Bryan Mbeumo delivers the perfect reaction to Premier League update after Man Utd vs Brighton

Bryan Mbeumo has delivered the perfect reaction to Manchester United moving into the top four of the Premier League table after their win against Brighton.

Manchester United claimed their third consecutive Premier League victory with a 4–2 win over Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.

Fresh from their impressive triumph over Liverpool at Anfield the previous weekend, United returned home looking to build on their momentum; and they did just that.

Midway through the first half, Matheus Cunha opened the scoring with a composed finish, netting his first goal for the club since joining in the summer. Moments later, fellow Brazilian Casemiro doubled the advantage with a deflected strike that left Bart Verbruggen with no chance.

After the break, Bryan Mbeumo finished off a slick team move to make it 3–0, but former United striker Danny Welbeck pulled one back for the visitors with a precise free-kick, denying Ruben Amorim’s side a clean sheet.

Brighton added another late goal to increase the tension, but Mbeumo struck again in the closing stages to secure the win and ensure United’s winning run continued in front of their home fans.

Mbeumo’s perfect reaction to Premier League table update

Mbeumo has been extremely impressive since he arrived at Old Trafford in the summer and it was excellent to see him score twice in this clash.

Both goals were impressive strikes to help ensure United secured their third Premier League victory in a row, and that has also helped the Reds climb the table.

United now sit fourth in the Premier League table and are just three points away from Arsenal at the top of the table, although Mikel Arteta’s side do have a game-in-hand.

When told about this update during his Sky Sports interview after the game, Mbeumo delivered the perfect response which fans will love.

“I like the challenges, I came here to a big club and we want to fight for the best places,” the 26-year-old replied.

United must build winning momentum

United winning three games in a row feels a little strange but the Reds cannot get ahead of themselves and have to take things one game at a time.

Their intensity and quality against Brighton was exactly what they needed to show after that Liverpool win, and now they need to forget all about it again.

Developing a winning envirnoment is the most important thing for Amorim right now and players like Mbeumo and Cunha will help that.

Not only do they offer so much quality in the final third but both players have been working their socks off every single time they step on the pitch for the club.
