Bruno Fernandes is reportedly considering leaving Manchester United at the end of this season and there are three potential destinations for him.
Manchester United fans thought that Bruno Fernandes might have been leaving the club this summer after a huge offer from Saudi Arabia came in.
But eventually, after speaking with Ruben Amorim and his family, the United captain decided to reject the offer and stay at the club.
Fernandes will undoubtably be an important player this season even though he has started the new campaign slowly.
But new reports have emerged which suggests the Portuguese international could be ready to move on from the Reds next summer.
Fernandes considering three transfer destinations
According to MailSport, Fernandes is open to joining a new club next summer once the 2026 World Cup is over and there are three main destinations he could head towards.
Saudi is an obvious option he would consider, with the clubs there desperate to sign Fernandes and offer him staggering wages in return for his services.
It was also explained that the MLS is another option for Fernandes, as well as staying in Europe in a top five league; Fernandes would likely want to sign for another huge club if he was to stay on the continent.
Fernandes’ current contract at Old Trafford expires in the summer of 2027 and next year might be the last chance to get substantial cash for him.
United double signing becomes clear if Fernandes leaves
Fernandes leaving United soon almost seems like something the hierarchy expect considering the additions of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo this summer.
The club need proven quality in the attack before they even consider letting Fernandes go, but even then, his departure would make United’s midfield extremely light.
Kobbie Mainoo will likely stay even though there are doubts about his future, while Casemiro is set to leave when his contract expires next summer.

If Fernandes were to leave as well, United would be left with Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte as their only options in that deeper midfield pivot.
United want to revisit a deal for Carlos Baleba next summer but even if they signed the Cameroon international, they would need to bring in at least one more central midfielder into the club and perhaps two if either Ugarte or Mainoo departs.
