Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire agree about “class” Manchester United star vs Arsenal

Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire both offered praise for one “class” Manchester United star during the clash against Arsenal.
Manchester United and Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, with Bruno Fernandes’ brilliant free-kick canceled out by Declan Rice’s late strike.
Ruben Amorim fielded a weakened United side, raising concerns among fans, but they defended well in the first half, limiting Arsenal’s chances.
Fernandes broke the deadlock just before half-time with a superb free-kick, giving United a deserved lead.
In the second half, the Reds improved in possession but left too much space for Rice, who equalized from the edge of the box with 15 minutes remaining.
United pushed for a winner in the closing stages, creating several chances, but the match ended in a stalemate.
Casemiro was one of United’s standout performers over the 90 minutes, stepping up once again in Manuel Ugarte’s absence.
Fernandes and Maguire agree about class United star
Amorim decided to start Casemiro for the second game in a row and the experienced midfielder responded well with a solid display.
The Brazilian has made a strong case to start in the all-important Europa League clash against Real Sociedad on Thursday night.
He clearly enjoyed the battle against the Gunners on the weekend, posting on Instagram with the caption: “What a thrilling match, lads !!”
Fernandes was quick to respond to his teammate, commenting: “Classe 🤝🏼”, meanwhile, Harry Maguire replied with two clapping emojis to show his appreciation.
Casemiro wants to play more
Despite his inconsistent game-time under Amorim, Casemiro has been worked hard behind-the-scenes to push for a starting spot.
However, he has also explained that he is not happy being on the bench but respects the decisions made by the United boss.
“If a player is on the bench and is happy, that player is not worth anything for any team,” said Casemiro in a recent interview.
“Of course I want to play. I want to have more minutes, but the coach is the one who makes the decisions, and I have a lot of respect for him and for the club.
“I always say, and these are my values, I respect the coach a lot and I respect the club. Every day I go to Carrington or Old Trafford, I try to do my best. That’s my biggest quality.”
