Benjamin Šeško reveals how one Manchester United teammate impresses him in training, “really happy for him…”

Benjamin Šeško has revealed how one of his Manchester United teammates has impressed him in training sessions at Carrington.

Manchester United’s season has been somewhat inconsistent so far, but they’ll be hoping to build momentum after their impressive triumph over Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.

With matches against Brighton and Nottingham Forest on the horizon, the Reds will be looking to pick up more points and push further up the Premier League standings.

Several players are starting to find their rhythm, with all four of the club’s summer signings delivering encouraging performances in recent games.

Ruben Amorim has also praised other members of his squad, including Mason Mount, who is finally beginning to show his true quality at Old Trafford.

Šeško reveals how one United teammate impresses him in training

Benjamin Šeško joined the club from RB Leipzig for a significant fee but the striker already looks to have settled in at Old Trafford, with two goals in his last two starts.

He also came off the bench at Anfield to help the team get over the line against Liverpool. That was a game where Senne Lammens starred in between the sticks after he also impressed in his debut against Sunderland.

In a new interview with Sky Sports, Šeško was asked to describe his new teammate Lammens in one word and he smiled, “Wall.”

“Especially in his first two appearances,” Šeško elaborated. “The ball just hits him, you know, it’s that way.

“Also, he is great in trainings as well and I’m really happy for him, especially for those first two games because first impressions are really important in general. I wish him the best for every single game.”

Šeško and Lammens having solid starts at United

Šeško’s support for Lammens is echoed by the United fanbase, who are delighted to have a goalkeeper who seems to offer a calming presence behind his team.

Every player on the pitch needs to have confidence in their goalkeeper and that could not have been the case at United in recent months.

Lammens is still extremely early in his United career, just like Šeško, and both players will experience challenging moments in the coming weeks and months.

But the signs so far are mostly extremely positive and they will both hope to continue their positive starts to life at Old Trafford against Brighton on Saturday evening.
