Antony’s agent fires BRUTAL shot at Ruben Amorim, he “completely disagrees” with Manchester United assessment

Júnior Pedroso, the agent of Antony, has fired a brutal response to Ruben Amorim after his assessment of the Manchester United star’s success on loan at Real Betis.
Antony has enjoyed a strong start to his loan spell at Real Betis since leaving Manchester United in the January transfer window.
The Brazilian winger registered five goal contributions in his first six appearances for Betis and even earned a nomination for La Liga Player of the Month in February alongside Kylian Mbappe.
He then played 90 minutes in a shock victory over Real Madrid on the weekend to continue his impressive form.
When asked about the player’s start to life on loan, Ruben Amorim suggested that the physical level of La Liga has been a positive factor for Antony.
“When you play against any team in England, the physicality is there,” Amorim told TNT Sports. “If you don’t have physicality, you will struggle a lot.
“Antony is so much better now in Spain. It’s [because of] a lot of factors but I guarantee you it’s physicality.”
Antony’s agent slams Amorim comments
This assessment has clearly irritated Antony’s camp, who have fired back with a response to Amorim, labelling his comments as a “very superficial argument” which “does not reflect reality.”
The Brazilian’s agent, Júnior Pedroso, has been speaking to Marca this week about Antony and he believes that his struggles at Old Trafford were down to the club and not the player.
“We respect the opinion of coach Ruben Amorim, but we completely disagree with his analysis,” Pedroso said. “To attribute Antony’s lack of success at United solely to physicality is a very superficial argument and does not reflect reality.
“The reality is that Antony, since he arrived at Real Betis, has become one of the best players in the team and in the competition itself, demonstrating his full potential when given the right conditions to develop his game.
“This highlights that the problem was not the physicality, but the context and the way he was managed in Manchester. Many players who do not prosper at United find success at other clubs, which leads us to wonder if the problem really lies with the players.”
Antony’s best level still far away from what United need
Let us not forget that Antony started his life at Old Trafford quite well, with three goals in his first three Premier League outings, before falling off a cliff.
We all know that there are problems at United which is impacting players and their ability to show their best levels, but that doesn’t make every situation the same.

Antony’s best level is still far away from what United need and the fact they spent so much money on him makes it even worse.
Playing at Real Betis and Manchester United – that is two different worlds. And even then, Antony’s agent should perhaps wait for longer than one month of solid form before lauding his player in the media once again.
