Manchester United are trying to reward Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo with new and improved contracts at Old Trafford.

Over the last year at Manchester United, there have been major troubles sprinkled with some positive moments.

The FA Cup victory against Manchester City was the clear highlight, while other good moments mostly came from young players emerging into the team.

Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo have been two of the bright sparks for the Reds, with both players emerging into the team last season.

Under new boss Ruben Amorim, the pair seem like they could be key members of his team going forward and the club are trying to tie them both down to new deals.

How much Amad will make as new contract being signed

Amad has just six months remaining on his contract at Old Trafford but is expected to sign new terms this week on a deal that will keep him at the club for another five years.

The Ivorian has been a key player under Amorim and been in good form over the last two months, scoring three goals and providing five assists in 12 appearances under Amorim.

According to journalist Graeme Bailey, as per UnitedInFocus, Amad’s new terms are set to earn him around £120,000-per-week.

That is a major increase on the 22-year-old’s current terms, which are around £30,000-per-week. It signifies his new-found importance to the team.

How much Mainoo will make as negotiations stalled

Mainoo has been in negotiations with United over a new deal for some time now, but reports suggest those talks are currently stalled.

That has led to rumours surrounding the 19-year-old’s future, with Chelsea supposedly interested in Mainoo’s services, however the Reds are not concerned about the situation.

It has been explained that Mainoo’s contract will be focused on once Amad’s is signed, sealed and delivered. The midfielder still has several years in his existing deal, making his teammate’s renewal a bigger priority for now.

Meanwhile, the aforementioned report adds that United and Mainoo are expected to come to an agreement which sees him earn around £150,000-per-week.

Mainoo is currently on similar amounts to Amad at around £30,000-per-week, but he does have more experience in the first team and emerged as a star for England at Euro 2024.

United will hope to have both deals wrapped up soon, with the young pair expected to be key players for the club now and in the future.
