All 9 Manchester United players Rúben Amorim still wants gone before deadline day, £150m is waiting

Rúben Amorim is still hoping that nine Manchester United players can be offloaded before deadline day, and as much as £150 million in transfer fees could be collected.

Manchester United are heading into the final few days of the summer transfer window with a lot of business still on their plate.

Rúben Amorim has secured four new signings, with Matheus Cunha, Diego Leon, Bryan Mbeumo, and Benjamin Šeško all now part of his ranks at Old Trafford. However, the club are still being linked with moves for a possible new midfielder, despite losing out on Carlos Baleba.

Meanwhile, there are several first-team exiles who very much must still be sold, with the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Antony heading out the exit door, while striker Rasmus Højlund has been linked with a move back to Italy.

With the window slamming shut on 1 September at 19:00 BST, Amorim will be keen to secure as much business as possible so he can devote his entire focus to the new Premier League and domestic campaign.

Amorim still hoping for £150m in sales

United are yet to sell a first-team player this summer. All 11 exits have so far come from loans, with the most high-profile of those being Marcus Rashford’s to Barcelona, with a £30 million option to sign him in 2026.

However, there are still five players whom Amorim hopes to see leave, with one being Garnacho, who has informed friends he will be signing for Chelsea this summer.

But the London side reportedly value the winger at £25 million, while United want £50 million, so a stalemate needs to be sorted before this can proceed.

Meanwhile, Højlund has been linked with a possible move to Napoli in the next week or so due to their striker situation, with Amorim’s side wanting around £40 million for the Danish international. The club are also hoping to raise a further £20 million from Jadon Sancho’s summer move, too.

Antony is valued at £35 million and is said to have multiple offers on the table, although he is holding out for Real Betis. But, with United warning the winger that he must accept an offer soon, United could be securing their desired fee in the next few weeks.

Finally, the club are also hoping to offload Tyrell Malacia for a fee of at least £5 million, with both FC Porto and AS Roma interested in the Dutch left-back. If all these players can be sold for close to the desired fees, then Amorim could pocket around £150 million.

United also looking to sanction four loan exits

Amid the plethora of sales United are hoping to complete, there are also a further four loan moves they want to make sure are secured before the end of the window.

United have been good with their Academy loans this summer, with those such as Toby Collyer and Radek Vitek being sent to the Championship to gain vital English football experience, while the talented Jack Moorhouse will finally see first-team action with Leyton Orient in League One.

According to the Manchester World, United are still hunting for a suitable destination for left-back Harry Amass. PSV Eindhoven had a permanent offer rejected, while Sheffield Wednesday also made an approach to sign him on loan. Still, United will wait for other offers before making a final decision.

Talented young striker Gabriele Biancheri is also available, with several League One and League Two sides interested in the Welshman. In the coming week, United also want to ensure Ethan Williams and Ethan Ennis are handed loan moves to continue their progression.
