Aaron Wan-Bissaka told there’s “no chance” he can compete with Diogo Dalot for Man Utd spot
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has started four games in a row for Manchester United but will not be able to compete with Diogo Dalot now he has returned from injury, says Paul Parker.
Wan-Bissaka, 25, has taken advantage of Dalot’s absence, putting together some good performances in his first four starts under Erik ten Hag.
A hamstring injury sustained at the World Cup had kept Dalot out of the United squad until Tuesday evening; where he came off the bench against Bournemouth.
The manager believes that competition between the two will be useful for United going forward.
“Aaron has done very well in the last few games both defensively and offensively. Good competition in the group, but there are a lot of games so we need them,” he told reporters after the 3-0 win against Bournemouth.

However, Parker believes that the level that Dalot has found under the Dutchman will make it very difficult for Wan-Bissaka to have any real chance of challenging for the shirt; which could mean that he departs the club in January.
“Aaron Wan-Bissaka did a great job against Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton but there is no chance that he will be the preferred right-back in the future,” expressed Paul Parker, talking to BonusCodeBets.
“Diogo Dalot has made that position his and it will stay that way for many years to come. When he is ready, no one can challenge him.
“Wan-Bisakka might need to find a new club in January. Man United wants to sign a new centre forward and if they can get rid of some of the dead weight in the squad that would be ideal.”
