Crystal Palace vs Manchester United: Predicted Line-up

Crystal Palace are hosting Manchester United at Selhurst Park in the final Premier League fixture of what has been an season of almost complete disappointment for the Red Devils. In a match which was originally viewed to be one United could secure a Champions League place for next season in, it now has the potential to send the club to the Europa Conference League, depending on both this result and how West Ham fair against Brighton & Hove Albion.

In order to secure qualification for next season’s Europa League competition, United need to win – and this will be without top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo. It was confirmed on Saturday afternoon that Ronaldo will be out of the fixture with a hip flexor problem.

Another who will not be featuring is Paul Pogba. He was injured during Liverpool’s 4-0 thrashing of United earlier last month and was subsequently ruled out for the season.

Ralf Rangnick confirmed that United will be without “quite a few players”, however did not spesify who those players are.

Luke Shaw, Jadon Sancho and Phil Jones are doubts to start, however Alvaro Fernandez, Charlie Savage and Shola Shoretire have all made the squad travelling to South London – although none are expected to start.

One player who could feature is Juan Mata, after putting in a few decent performances in recent weeks, despite the results of late.

With no Ronaldo, we could see Anthony Elanga have a run out up front, complimented by Marcus Rashford to his left.

Manchester United predicted line-up:

David de Gea;

Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof, Alex Telles;

Fred, Nemanja Matic, Bruno Fernandes;

Juan Mata, Anthony Elanga, Marcus Rashford.
