Manchester United host Brentford in their final home game of the Premier League season in what has been a disappointing campaign for the Red Devils. The teams have been confirmed ahead of the late night fixture.
Rangnick’s side have not been in the best of form, but the interim manager has been insistent on United finishing the season strongly. The score in the reverse fixture was 3-1 at the Brentford Community Stadium.
United have a number of injuries in their camp as the conclusion of the season approaches. Fred and Edinson Cavani have returned to the squad, however, and the former is starting the final match at Old Trafford this season.
With the fight for top four out of United’s reach, the remaining three encounters for the side are auditions for next season when Erik ten Hag will take over the side, as well, the supporters deserve the side to end the season strongly after the car-crash of a campaign that has occurred so far.
With a lap of honour planned after full-time this evening, United will be desperate to reward their fans with a solid performance and victory. Here are the teams that the two managers have decided use.
