Manchester United host Norwich City on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League. Ralf Rangnick’s side ran out 0-1 winners at Carrow Road earlier in the season, thanks to a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty.

Heading into the game, Manchester United sit seventh in the league table, six points behind Tottenham Hotspur, who occupy the fourth and final Champions League spot. Recently, the Red Devils’ form has been disappointing. They were beaten 1-0 away to struggling Everton last Saturday, with Anthony Gordon’s deflected finish turning out to be the difference. United put in a largely poor performance across the 90 minutes.
The week before the trip to Goodison Park, United could only earn one point when Leicester City travelled to Old Trafford. Fred’s fourth league goal of the season cancelled out Kelechi Iheanacho’s opener, as United dropped two vital points in the race for a top four finish.

Since the international break, Norwich City have picked up four points from a possible six in the Premier League. Dean Smith’s side most recently beat Burnley 2-0 at Carrow Road. An early goal from Pierre Lees-Melou gave them a crucial early lead before a late Teemu Pukki goal sealed all three points.
The weekend before, the Canaries drew 0-0 away to Brighton and Hove Albion. It was a game where Graham Potter’s side were the better team and could have easily scored three or four goals. Regardless, it was an important point for Norwich to take home.
Despite their recent form, Norwich still sit bottom of the league, seven points behind 17th place Everton. They will be hoping to pick up more points at Old Trafford on Saturday as their fight for survival continues.Embed from Getty Images
